"And it seemed to him that as in his dream in the house of Bombadil, the grey rain-curtain turned all to silver glass and was rolled back, and he beheld white shores and beyond them a far green country under a swift sunrise."

The Ceremony

The ceremony was so incredibly perfect, I couldn't have asked for it to be any better.

I arrived at the church a little tiny bit early, so we went for a drive around the block. Whilst we were parked, James (Luke's brother who was driving my dad and I) turned around and said that Luke had given him something to give to me. I opened up the box and inside was the most perfect little Claddagh ring. I had been eyeing it off a few weeks prior! It was gorgeous :)

So with that, we drove up to the church and started the lengthy process of getting me and my dress out of the car....

We had a slight mishap with my bracelet, the latch kept coming undone :S

And then, all too soon, the strains of Pachebels' Cannon in D was floating down the aisle and the girls were making their way down. Then the music lifted and dad and I made our way towards my future. Luke looked spectacular, standing up the front, a huge grin on his face and the hint of tears in his eyes. That image is the clearest part of the whole day. If I forget the rest of that day, I will never forget that part.

Luke told me later that I kept winking at him! All I remember is not being able to stop smiling!

Many many many thanks to Nathan for playing the keys for us and to Kylie for singing. It was beautiful!!

And thanks again to my lovely ladies and Luke's handsome men....

I had so much fun!

Thanks to Tim for delivering a perfect ceremony! It was so much more than I ever wished for :) And thanks to Sarah for the bible reading :D

Time to sign the register....

And then we were husband and wife!

Perfect perfect perfect!!
